Lovitt Resources Inc. (TSX: LRC.V) is an emerging gold mining company planning to develop reserves, and if successful re-activate gold and silver production at its crown jewel, the Lovitt Mine in Wenatchee, WA. Major mining companies Teck Corporation, Asamera Minerals (US) Inc., Newmont Mining Inc., and Cyprus Anvil conducted exploration on the Lovitt Mine property in the 1970’s and 80’s. The company is in possession of the valuable exploration data they produced and is working to build a comprehensive database model to eventually conduct a major diamond drill program. The Company is committed to maintaining as green a footprint as possible, with a final outcome the total re-habilitation of the Lovitt Mine.
The Lovitt Mine ranked sixth in gold production in the USA when it suspended operations in 1967. Besides the reams of data produced by the companies above, founder Ed Lovitt kept meticulous notes on daily assays, tunneling, long-hole drilling, and production. The maps and diagrams produced by his drafting department met consistently high engineering standards. Using this historic information and the more modern data as a base, LRC intends to conduct an aggressive exploration program as recommended in its most recent 43-101 filed in March 2020.
